Hello again, all of my fellow betters!
I am excited to post my second set of picks for my Drip Picks Blog. Today we have the second day of the NBA play-in games featuring four of the teams (Charlotte Hornets vs. Atlanta Hawks and San Antonio Spurs vs. New Orleans Pelicans.) In this post (Part 2) I will be focusing on the game between the Spurs vs. Pelicans. What I will be doing is discussing which picks I like from each game and a little bit about why I'm choosing them. I will be using a steady bet of $20 dollars for each and every bet and will have a continuing tally of what my wins/losses are currently to date. With that being said let's get right into this...
Take: Brandon Ingram OVER 23.5 Points and C.J. McCollum Over 24.5 Points (+185)
Bet $20 to win $37 equaling a total of $57.

When I think about the bigs in this particular matchup I can't help but feel like Jonas Valanciunas is going to struggle against a pretty good defender in Jacob Poeltl. Jonas averaged 13.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. But, when facing off against the Spurs this year, his averages go 17 points and 11.8 rebounds. I know he plays well against the Spurs but something is telling me he will struggle.
Take: Jonas Valancuinas Under 30.5 Points and Rebounds combined (-110)
Bet $20 to win $18.18 equaling a total of $38.18.

During the regular season, Dejounte Murray has been all over the floor defensively wreaking havoc when it comes to limiting his turnovers. He has a high motor and covers ground fast. During the regular season, he averaged 2 steals and 0.3 blocks. Against the Pelicans this year he averages 2.3 steals and 0.3 blocks.
Take: DeJounte Murray Over 2.5 Blocks and Steals (+135)
Bet $20 to win $27 equaling a total of $47.
