Today since there is a break in NBA action I decided I would switch things up and discuss a game in the WNBA between the Minnesota Lynx vs the Atlanta Dream. This season has practically started the exact opposite for these to franchises. The Dream have started the year (5-3) and the Lynx has started (2-7).

| Minnesota Lynx vs. Atlanta Dream |
In there last game the Minnesota Lynx played the Los Angeles Sparks and went home with a loss by a final score of 85-83 in their last contest. Minnesota ended the game with a 42.3% field goal percentage (22 of 52) and knocked down 4 out of their 17 3-pointers. From the free throw line, the Lynx buried 35 of their 43 shots for a rate of 81.4%.
In their last game, the Atlanta Dream took home the win by a final score of 81-54 against the Phoenix Mercury. The Dream were able to collect 37 defensive rebounds and 10 offensive boards totaling 47 for the matchup. They also coughed up the ball 23 times, while getting 9 steals in the game. The Mercury earned 15 fouls for the contest which took the Dream to the charity stripe for 6 shots.
The last time the two teams met was June 23, 2021 the Lynx won an closely contested game with an 87-85 point victory over the Dream. I believe that the Dream are an even better team than they were at this point last year and I also believe that the Lynx have taken a step back this season. But in this particular match-up I actually like the Lynx. The particular types of sets each team run seems to benefit the Lynx more than the dream. Take the Minnesota Lynx (+180).
